2 weeks post op

Hi Guys,

Sorry it has taken so long.........................
Have had a wicked couple of weeks showing the new nose to everyone :)
Although I do have to keep looking in the mirror just to check that the bump hasnt grown back

Am really impressed that I have recovered so quickly

Am back to work now so kinda back to the norm and went out for a few well deserved beverages on Friday night.

The Unvailing

FINALLY............................

Today I will finally get to see my new nose

Woke up bright and early all ready to go had to leave at 9am

Just enough time to tease my mother about her drunken antics lastnite
Feeling excited but really nervous and I'm not sure exactly what is under that Splint

Heres a couple of piccys this morning

Appointments at 10 so ofcourse we make it there by 1 second to 10 :)

Little did we know we would be waiting an HOUR.
Listening to some woman explain how just before leaving her husband she paid for a £4000 on his credit card........................BITCH

Any way finally up in the nurses room by this time im close to being sick im so scared.
Laid on the bed

And then she starts taking the splint off and Oh my God that hurt!!!!!!!!

This might sound soppy but the minuite I saw myself I started to cry, then looked over at my mum and she was crying and then the nurse started aswell. Tears of ahppiness may I add

Heres a couple of after piccy's but I cant smile properly yet at the skin above my upper lip is still quite tight.

Day 7 (Friday)

Ok so tommorrow is the day.........................................

The splint is coming off and I will finally get to see my new nose :)

I am off to my nans shortly as she wants to teach me how to make a lemon drizzle cake. hmmmmmmm this could be eventful

Oh and I can have a drink tonight yay!!!!!!!!

Ok so even tho I can drink I decided that it would prob be best not to.

Made the Lemon Drizzle Cake and mum came home drunk and scoffed half of it, So any of her friends that are reading this if she says she hasnt cheated SHE LIES!!!!!!!! she had alcohol and cake!!!!! FAIL!

Want to go to bed but am very nervous/excited about the unvailing tomorrow.

Day 6 (Thursday)

Morning All,

Today I had a visit from one of my Besties Ami and her lil bubba Connor.

Now hes very cute but then the crying started and i remembered again why I swore to never have kids.... OMG the crying on and on and on lol. Although I am think it may have been my face that made him cry lol

Then went round a friends for a takeaway but I'm afraid no alcohol :(

Day 5 (Wednesday)

Today is my first proper day out.................... this should be fun

Went to see my nan (the one who i blame for the nose situation)
Asked how I looked and she said " arnt your legs getting fat"
Well thanks nan I really needed that confidence boost :)
Old people ay dont think about what they say, decided this would be a short visit!

So today is my 2 weeks of no smoking so decided I would treat my self so done a bit of Retail Therapy with the mothership.

Epsom was ..................... fun

Everyone that walked passed felt the need to stare but the kind of stare where they think you cant see them staring, had a bit of fun with that by staring the hell back!!! haha

Then i think mum wanted to hide me so took me to the cinema to see Toy Story 3 in 3D (i know childish but i dont care)

So here I am in my lovely 3D glasses

So get into the cinema sit down film starts and my health freak mum asks if I can hold her orange peels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What kind of person goes to the cinema with an Orange!!??!!??
Film wasnt that good, bit sad actually but anyway
After all this activity I was knackered so it was home to bed for a kip

Day 4 (Tuesday)

Today is my first day alone.

Everyone has gone to work and left me :(

Its only the morning so nothing really has happened yet but here are some piccy's to keep you going:

Day 3 (Monday)

Have woken up today feeling alot better but once faced with my Nan she informs me that I infact look worse today................... Thanks Nan AGAIN!!!

Now as you can see I have pretty much let myself go am not allowed to have hot bath or shower so hair hasnt been washed since Friday morning (i know DISGUSTING!!!) And am not allowed to get the splint wet so have to be careful about washing my face too.

After lunch I decide it's time to sort my self out!!!

So in comes the dry shampoo loadsssss of it!!! And look I look like Sophie again!! YAY



Have started taking close up pictures of my eyes now as its quite funny to see the different colours every day.
Today is a very red day:

B-E-A-UTIFUL I know.

Oh and today was my first official outing!!!

I went to a Mcdonalds drive thru :) and once again nearly caused a few accidents where people in other cars had to double take when they looked at me. Nosey buggers!!
